Up-cycling Brides Maid Dresses
So it’s that time of year again. Spring-cleaning is under way and upon looking through your closet, you find your bridesmaid dress from your besties wedding, collecting dust. Instead of allowing that little gem to collect dust, create a signature look.
A cool way to style a tea length and/or shorter brides maid dress would be with a cropped denim jacket paired with a cute belt for a casual look. This attire would be perfect for those warmer spring days for a day out in Seattle.
However, if your bestie decided that it was appropriate for all her bridesmaids to wear strap-less, floor-length dresses, then please don’t stuff that dress in the back of your closet! Create a glamorous nighttime look by pairing it with a chunky statement necklace and an exotic smoky eye.
Yet, sometimes your bestie was unfortunate enough to choose a dress that was just too much to handle in a normal social setting… If that’s the case feel free to make a DIY project out of it! You can always create a princess dress for your little girl, nieces or cousins from your old bridesmaid dresses. As well as make pillows from the extra fabric that was left!
